New Balance’s 327 is heavily inspired by the label’s archives, with a distinctive aesthetic that nods to ‘70s runners. And it’s immediately clear with this black and white pair, too. The uppers are cut from nylon and suede and panelled to give the retro sporty look — that borrows heavily from the label’s 320 and Supercomp — then joined to a sole unit that’s chunky, lugged and extends up the heels.
